Jake Paul has threatened to ‘kill’ former opponent Nate Diaz amid talk that the pair could re-ignite their feud in the Octagon.
The 26-year-old claimed victory against Diaz via unanimous decision when the pair met inside the ropes in August.
But talk of a rematch has quickly gathered pace since then, with Paul, offering the former UFC star $10million to fight him in the cage, despite the YouTuber-turned boxer being scheduled to fight Andre August on December 15.
While Paul is keeping his eyes firmly on climbing the world rankings, indicating that he wants to go head-to-head against ‘people who have been boxing their whole lives’, he claimed Diaz would not be able to best him in an MMA fight.
‘Nate Diaz is a smart man, staying away from me in MMA. He can’t take me down, I have better wrestling than him,’ Paul said, according to The Sun.

Diaz was beaten by Paul in August, but there is much talk that the pair could re-ignite their feud, with the YouTuber-turned boxer reportedly offering him £12m to fight
Earlier this November, Paul took to social media to announce his upcoming fight against Andre August
‘Ohio Division-1 state wrestling experience. He clearly can’t punch me. He punches so soft, like pillow hands.
‘If we fought in MMA it would only be 15 minutes, which is half the amount of time we just fought.
‘I’d up the punch count, up the pace, kill that man.’
Paul has also indicated that he could be open to stepping into the Octagon after he signed with the the Professional Fighters League earlier this year.
After his 10-round victory over Diaz in the boxing ring, he added that he would be keen on a rematch with the American inside the cage.
The former UFC Lightweight, who boasts a record of 22-13-0 in the MMA championship, has meanwhile indicated that he intends to continue boxing.
Paul left fans unimpressed in November after announcing his bout against August, who has a record of 10-1-1 while claiming the match was a ‘gamble’.
It’ll be his third fight of the year, after he was also beaten by Tommy Fury back in February, via split decision – his only defeat since taking up the sport.
But having already beaten other names in the fight world, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, Paul has firmly set his sights on climbing the world championship rankings.
He also claimed that Diaz had ‘pillow hands’ following his points decision victory against the UFC star

Paul has lost once since taking up boxing and is targeting a climb to the top of the world rankings
‘I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life.
‘So far, my entire boxing career has been on pay-per-view, but now it’s about more than business.
‘Now I want to build my experience in the ring against seasoned fighters.
‘I’m coming to prove my greatness on Friday, December 15th live on DAZN for the world to see.’
