It’s not just the advanced metrics that the Golden Knights are outperforming the Panthers in. It’s also the simple things, like shooting percentage and save percentage.
They’ve been getting much better goaltending throughout the entire series. Vegas has a team save percentage of 92.5%, while Florida is stopping shots at a rate of just 85.83%, which is not something the Panthers have had to deal with throughout the playoffs.
