The Stars won Game 4 in overtime and then followed it up with a convincing 4-2 win in Game 5. Now, they’re all of a sudden favored to force a Game 7.

I have been riding the Stars in every game this series and I see no reason to back off them now.
They’re leading the Golden Knights in virtually every single advanced metric in this series. For example, if you look at expected goals, the Stars hold the advantage, averaging 2.86 per 60 minutes compared to the Golden Knights at 2.40.
They’re also sporting a higher CORSI% and FENWICK%, both of which measure all types of shots for and against, while also averaging more high-danger scoring chances per game.
The most promising sign for the Stars is that their goaltender, Jake Oettinger, has finally begun to play to his potential. He has stopped 68 of the last 72 shots that he’s faced, and if he continues to play at that level, the Golden Knights are going to have a tough time eliminating their opponent.
