This series looked like it was all Boston. After dominating the first two games at home, it appeared that the Celtics would cruise to a sweep, but Game 3 in Atlanta changed everything. The Hawks took a 130-122 win and shot the absolute lights out. Trae Young had 32 points and nine assists and now we might have a real series on our hands.
Can Trae Young and Dejounte Murray even the series at 2-2 or will Boston bounce back to take a commanding 3-1 lead? Let’s get into the odds for Game 4 between the Hawks and the Celtics with Boston up 2-1.

It’s not like the Celtics completely laid an egg in Game 3 or failed to show up. Sure, they were bad on the defensive end, but they shot 21/48 from three and 48.9% from the field in the game. They allowed 11 offensive rebounds which is a bit of a problem, but nothing that I’m worried about going forward. The Hawks just simply couldn’t miss.
Atlanta shot 56% from the field and 15/34 from three. They also grabbed 48 rebounds to 29 from Boston, but that discrepancy has more to do with the fact that there weren’t all that many defensive boards for Boston to grab with the way the Hawks shot it. Trae had 32, Murray had 25 and around those two they had an incredibly balanced offensive attack. One that all of the size and athleticism of Boston should be able to shut down.
The Celtics got too comfortable in a series where they are clearly the better team and have a great matchup. I wouldn’t overreact to one game because Atlanta can’t shoot the ball as well as they did again and they only won by eight. Just take the Celtics to cover.
